Instruction for OKADA accumulator
1) Be sure to use nitrogen gas only for the accumulator.
2) Keep the working pressure below the predetermined maximum working pressure for
the accumulator of 18 MPa (2620 psi).
3) Always release all the charged N
4) Never perform any machine work such as welding, drilling and gas heating.
5) Always store the accumulator and its parts indoors to avoid corrosion. Exposure of the
accumulator bladder to the sun can lead to deterioration.
6) Read this manual before attempting to handle the accumulator. After a proper
understanding of the accumulator is obtained, proceed with the required maintenance
work.
1. Remove cap 6 (with O-ring) for the accumulator
cover side, then tighten gas charging valve 4 to
29 Nm (21 ftlb).
Removing the plug on the upper side of
the accumulator cover while the
gas-charging valve loosened could result
in N
gas spurting out. Be sure to tighten

the gas-charging valve before removing
the plug.
