SAFETY PRACTICES AND PRECAUTIONS ■ For personal safety, wear proper apparel. Loose fitting garments or hanging sleeves should never be worn while using this appliance. Some synthetic fabrics are highly flammable and should not be worn while cooking. ■ Do not use aluminum foil to line any part of the oven or cooktop. This will cause heat to be trapped underneath it.

SAFETY PRACTICES AND PRECAUTIONS ■ Clean the cooktop with caution. Avoid steam burns; do not use a wet sponge or cloth to clean the cooktop while it is hot. Some cleaners produce noxious fumes if applied to a hot surface. Follow directions provided by the cleaner manufacturer.
PLANNING THE INSTALLATION IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION The range is tested in accordance with ANSI Z21.1 Standard for Household Cooking Gas Appliances. The range must be installed in conjunction with a suitable overhead vent hood. (See section ‘Ventilation Requirements’). Due to the professional high heat capacity of this unit, particular attention should be paid to the hood and duct work installation to ensure it meets local building codes.
PLANNING THE INSTALLATION RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION SEQUENCE Install components in the following order: 1. Locate and level range according to range installation instructions. Island Trim Steps 2,3 & 4 are only relevant if you are installing a Wall Mount Full Backguard: Measure distance from floor to top of island trim on range, adding 1/4”...

UNPACKING AND HANDLING MOVING AND PLACING THE RANGE (cont.) Anti-tip device should be installed (see section ‘Installing anti-tip device’ for instructions). The professional range should be transported by a dolly close to its final location. The range can be tipped back and supported on the rear legs while the dolly is removed.

INSTALLING ANTI-TIP DEVICE All ranges must have an anti-tip device correctly (2) Wood Screws into Back Wall (ALL Installations) installed as per the following instructions. CABINET PREPARATION 1. The range is a free standing unit. If the unit is to be placed adjacent to cabinets, the clearances shown in the following diagrams are required. The same clearances apply to island installations. 2. The range can be placed in various positions with respect to the cabinet front, with the front frame either flush or projecting, depending on the countertop depth.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS – RDU MODELS The electrical supply must be a correctly polarized 120/240 volt, 3-wire (plus ground), 60 Hz circuit suitable for the maximum current draw of the Electrical Supply model, as detailed in the table below. Please verify your model’s current x Line to Range draw by checking the rating label on the back of the range.
GAS HOOK-UP GAS REQUIREMENTS Verify the type of gas supplied to the location. The range is shipped from the factory set up and adjusted for Natural Gas or LP (propane), depending on the specific model ordered. Verify that the range is compatible with gas supply at the installation site before proceeding further.
TEST AND ADJUSTMENTS LEAK TESTING: ■ After final gas connection is made, turn on manual gas valve and test all COOKTOP BURNER connections in gas supply piping for gas leaks with a soapy water solution. During this test all appliance gas valves have to be closed. ■...

PLANIFICATION DE L’INSTALLATION INFORMATIONS IMPORTANTES CONCERNANT L’INSTALLATION (FR) La cuisinière a été testée conformément à la norme ANSI Z21.1 pour les appareils électroménagers domestiques de cuisson à gaz. La cuisinière doit être installée avec une hotte de ventilation suspendue appropriée. (Voir la section ‘Exigences en matière de ventilation’).
