STORAGE
When it is necessary to store a pump, proceed as per the following instructions:
•
If the pump has been used, proceed to its internal and external cleanliness with suitable products.
•
Always store the pumps in dry places and without dust, and properly ventilated.
•
Never leave the cable in places where the water could get into it (for instance on a floor wet with water).
•
If the pumps are going to be outside, cover them properly.
•
For short periods of storage (up to 3 months) it is enough to protect the mechanized zones with an
anticorrosive product or with an impregnation of grease. If the period is longer, cover the pump with the
suitable protection and put the anticorrosive protection when it is necessary.
•
When the stored pump is going to be used, eliminate the protection products used and proceed as per the
instructions of starting up and maintenance of this manual.

WORKING FAILURES
FAILURES
CAUSES AND (SOLUTIONS)
1. The pump does not raise water
1.1 Turn in the opposite direction (change the electrical connections)
1.2 Obstruction in the pump or valves (eliminate the obstruction)
1.3 Lack of water in the well
2. Insuficient Capacity of discharge 2.1 Impeller partially obstructed (clean it)
2.2 Worn impeller (change it)
2.3 Excessive discharge head (change impeller diameter or change pump and motor)
2.4 Turn in the opposite direction (change the electrical connections)
2.5 Small water flow in the well (increase the water flow in the well)
2.6 Insufficient space from the suction of the pump to the bottom of the well (correct it)
3. Excessive electrical consumption 3.1 Low discharge head (decrease the impeller diameter)
3.2 A wrong electrical connection (check and correct it)
3.3 Internal friction (dissamble the pump and eliminate them)
3.4 Shaft is bent (replace it)
4. The pump vibrates
4.1 Wrong coupling between the pump and the anchoring base (correct it)
4.2 Small wáter flow in the well (increae the water flow in well)
4.3 Broken or obstructed impeller (replace it or clean it)
4.4 The pipes produce excessive tension on the flanges of the pump (correct the
tensions releasing the pipes)
4.5 Insufficient space from the suction of the pump to the bottom of the well (correct it)
4.6 Null flow or very small flow (open discharge valve).
5. The pump gets numb
5.1 Null or very small flow (open de discharge valve)
5.2 Friction inside the pump (point 3.3)
5.3 Bent shaft (replace shaft)
