HD Media Player
Quick Start Guide
This guide will explain the basic connection
and operation of the MP70. For full details on
operation, refer to the MP70 manual at
www.celabs.net.
Connections:
The MP70 is capable of driving a wide variety of displays at up to 1080P resolution at bit rates up to 40 Mbps.
You must have a SD card installed in the unit to enable playback of local content. Connect the following
cables to operate the unit.
Display cable – Use a good quality HDMI cable to connect between the MP70 and the intended display. The
HDMI cable length should generally be less than 20 feet in length for best operation.
Audio cable – The audio output is integrated into the HDMI signal.
Network cable – Certain operations require a network connection in order to implement. Connect an Ethernet
cable between the MP70 10/100 port and a local Ethernet switch. Alternatively, you may connect the
player to a local PC using a crossover Ethernet cable.
Insert the DC power plug into the MP70. Plug the power supply into a 120VAC outlet.
Please wait for approximately one minute until the unit completes the boot-up process. If a default startup
playlist has been defined and content is on the local storage medium, the unit will begin to display video. If
no video appears, press the menu button on the remote control to check on the unit's status.
Menu:
The menu allows a user to view the player
media files, network settings, and adjust
some parameters. Press MENU button on
the remote to access the screen shown to
the right and press MENU again to exit.
