10 ERROR MENU
After opening the vending machine door or after pressing the S1 key, a self-test is carried out in
the KarL4. To be tested:
Triggering hardware security
▪
Terminal ID configuration
▪
Buffer battery voltage
▪
Digital connection to NFC antenna
▪
Connection to mobile network
▪
Data connection
▪
Presence of dealer card (only if youth protection is activated by VMC)
▪
Validity of dealer card
▪
Result of last day closing
▪
Result of last telemetry
▪
Outstanding transactions in the memory (only if hardware security has been triggered)
▪
If an error is detected,
automatically starts the error menu. This is followed by a display of the errors found. Each error
found is displayed for a maximum of 5 seconds. After that, the next error is displayed or the error
menu is closed. The error menu can also be controlled manually via the S1 key:

S1 keep pressed
The following error messages can be displayed:
The telemetry has been rejected.
An update was started.
The update found is invalid and will not be carried out.
The update found could not be read. No update will be carried out.
The update found is too old. No update will be carried out.
The telemetry session carried out was successfully completed
