See Section 1 of the operator manual for more safety precautions. Introduction purpose Describes the steps necessary for replacing the torch head in the T30v or the T45v hand torch. Tools and materials needed T10 Torx driver (preferred) or flat-blade screwdriver 1/4"... - Page 3 1. Use a 5/16" (8 mm) and a 1/2” (T45v) or a 3/8" (T30v) or adjustable wrench to loosen the nut that secures the torch lead to the gas supply line. Remove the supply line and torch head.

Attach the new torch head’s supply line to the torch lead by tightening the nut with the 5/16" and 1/2” or 3/8" or adjustable wrenches until it is snug. 3. Insert the torch plunger’s screw through the ring terminal for the torch’s power cable, and the hole in the plunger.
- Page 5 T30v or T45v Torch head replacemenT 5. Align the cap-sensor switch with the handle and the torch head so that the tip of the switch will not hit the torch head as you are put it in place. Gently press the cap sensor switch onto its mounting post in the handle. The tip of the cap-sensor switch should rest just above the cap sense plunger on the torch head, and the post on the back of the cap-sensor switch should slide into the hole in the handle.

- Page 7 1. UUtiliser une clé de 5/16 po (8 mm) et une de ½ po (T45v) ou une clé à molette de 3/8 po (T30v) pour desserrer l’écrou qui fixe le faisceau de torche à la conduite du gaz d’alimentation. Déposer la conduite d’alimentation et la tête de torche.

Aligner l’interrupteur à capteur de buse sur la poignée et la tête de torche de sorte que l’extrémité de l’interrupteur ne touche pas la tête de torche quand on la met en place.
