Aligning Table

To ensure cutting accuracy, the table must be
aligned so the miter slot is parallel with the
bandsaw blade.
Tools Needed
Straightedge 2' .................................................. 1
Fine Ruler .......................................................... 1
Masking Tape .................................... As Needed
Wrench 10mm ................................................... 1
To align the table miter slot parallel to the
blade:
1.
Make sure the blade is correctly tensioned as
described in the Tensioning Blade subsec-
tion earlier in this manual.
2.
DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
3.
Make sure the table is perpendicular to the
side of the blade and is locked in place.
4.
Place an accurate straightedge along the
blade. The straightedge should lightly touch
both the front and back of the blade (see
Figure 37).
Note: Make sure the straightedge does not
go across a tooth while performing this step.

5.
Use the fine ruler to measure the distance
between the straightedge and miter slot at the
front and back of the table (see Figure 37).
— If the distances are the same, no further
adjustments are required.
— If the distances are different, continue with

Loosen the six flange bolts that secure the
table to the trunnion brackets (see Figure 38).

7.
Position the table so that the distances are
equal between the straightedge and miter
slot at the front and the back of the table.
8.
Taking care not to move the table further, re-
tighten the flange bolts.
9.
Verify the setting and, if necessary, repeat
this procedure until you are satisfied with the
adjustment.
