USER MANUAL
EAR DEFENDERS
MODEL: HT5K178
Protective ear muffs have been developed
in accordance with the European Standard EN 352-3: 2002.
- notified body number 0194.
TERMS OF USE
The earmuff hearing protector is used to protect the hearing organs against noise emitted by machines and against noise of any kind, harmful
or inconvenient to the user. You should use the protector all the time you are in high noise conditions. Earmuffs should be put on so that the
compression spring is against the head and the sweatband against the forehead. In order to obtain the correct degree of protection, the
neckband should be adjusted in such a way that the earpieces fit securely on the head. The length of the band is regulated by a lock with a knob
located on its back. You can also adjust the height of the ear cups using the three provided settings. After the correct fit, place the earpads over
the ears and then adjust the headband (polyamide and glass fibers) until it clicks. For maximum protection, pull the hair out from under the
earpieces so that the earpads fit snugly against your head.
The arms of the glasses should be as narrow as possible and fit snugly against the head.
Height adjustment allows you to adjust the earmuffs to the size of the head.

NOTES
The ear defenders meet the requirements for sizes S, M and L. The ear defenders can be adjusted to any size according to EN 352-1 standard.
Medium size ear defenders fit most users. Ear defenders in small or large size are designed for people who cannot properly fit medium size
ear defenders. Ear defenders should be worn, adjusted and maintained as indicated in this user manual. Ear defenders should be worn at all
times in locations where there is a high level of noise. It is recommended to regularly check the technical and functional condition of the ear
defenders. If you do not comply with the above recommendations, the protection provided by the ear defenders will be significantly reduced.
The ear defenders are made of harmless materials. Adjusting the shape of the hygiene overlays on pads for cups can influence on the acoustic
features of ear defenders
