A reliable time standard is required for time stamping loudness logs and for Nielsen encoding
when used. The AERO.100 can synchronize its internal clock to a network time server using
NTP. All three of the time setup menus; Time Zone; NTP; and Set Clock Manually; can be seen
in Figure 4-10, below.
1. Start by setting your time zone. Time settings should be done before the unit is placed
on-line.
Note!
Setting the Time Zone requires a reboot of the AERO.100!
2. Next disable NTP and set the time and date manually in the Set Clock Manually menu.
3. When NTP Synchronization is disabled it allows changes to be made in the NTP server
addresses. Enter the network NTP server addresses and enable NTP.
To verify NTP operation:
1. Click on NTP tab and Disable NTP Synchronization.
