Use a Phillips screwdriver to insert and tighten the two screws on the faceplate of the line card,

Your Ethernet line card may have shipped with a GBIC installed. If your line card arrived without the
GBIC installed and you need to install it now, or if you need to change your GBIC for another reason,
use the procedures in these sections:
Before you remove or install a GBIC, read the installation information in this section and the
Safety" section on page
Note
Cisco strongly recommends that you disconnect all fiber-optic cables before removing or installing a
GBIC.
