re sponse sprin klers.
This quick re sponse en ables the Models GFR and
GFR Re cessed Sprin klers to ap ply wa ter to a fire much
faster than stan dard re sponse sprin klers of the same
tem per a ture rat ing.
Ap pli ca tion
Quick re sponse sprin klers are used in fixed fire pro tec -
tion sys tems: Wet, Dry, De luge or Preaction. Care must
be ex er cised that the or i fice size, tem per a ture rat ing, de -
flec tor style and sprin kler spac ing are in ac cor dance with
the lat est pub lished stan dards of the Na tional Fire Pro tec -
tion As so ci a tion or the ap prov ing Au thor ity Hav ing Ju ris -
dic tion. Quick response sprinklers are in tended for
stan dard area cov er age and stan dard wa ter den si ties as
spec i fied in NFPA 13. Quick re sponse sprinklers and
stan dard re sponse sprin klers should not be in ter mixed.
