Softphone Features
This chapter explains some of the additional features available to the Iwatsu ilx-5822 Softphone on the
ILANTX 3100 system. Also, see System Features in Chapter 1.

Auto Answer

This feature can be setup to automatically answer a call when it arrives or to ring until answered. An
extension user can setup Auto Answer for all calls or calls from individual users.
When an extension user sets up the Iwatsu ilx-5822 Softphone to automatically answer calls, the user can
choose to send:
!" No message
!" A standard message supplied with the iwatsu ilx-5822 softphone
!" A personal pre-recorded message.
Call Logger
Creates a report of all incoming and outgoing calls made from the Iwatsu ilx-5822 Softphone. A filter
allows the extension user to select the information to display. Contents of the report include the following.
!" The date and time the call started
!" If the call was incoming or outgoing
!" If the call was answered/unanswered
!" The duration of the call
!" The incoming caller's number or the number dialed if an outgoing call
!" The reason why the call ended
!" The date and time the call ended
!" Whether the call was recorded
!" Whether auto answer was used to answer the call and if a message was used in the answer.
Caller Messages
An extension user can setup the Iwatsu ilx-5822 Softphone to send a message to callers when the user does
not want to accept calls from a particular caller or when operating in Auto Answer mode. An extension user
can use one of the pre-recorded messages supplied with Iwatsu ilx-5822 Softphone or record their own
personal messages.
