Please read the entire instruction manual before use and save it for future
reference. We reserve the right for any errors in text or images and for making any
necessary technical changes to this document. If you should have any questions

1. Safety
Do not use the player in temperatures below -5˚C or above +40˚C or in
humidity over 75% RH.
Do not expose the player to rain or moisture.
Do not subject the player to impacts or vibrations.
Avoid using the player in extremely dry environments to minimize the risk of
static electricity.
Do not remove the player from your computer whilst data transfer or
formatting is in progress, use the Windows method for "safely remove
hardware", refer to "Start/Help and support" if you are unsure.
Do not attempt to dismantle or repair the player, it contains no parts that can
be repaired or adjusted.
Caution: Do not use the player whilst driving a vehicle in traffic, it can affect
your concentration and lead to an accident. Remember to always turn off
the player when cycling or walking and crossing a road or railway crossing or
other place requiring your full attention.
Caution: Listening to the player on high volume can lead to permanent
hearing loss.
We accept no liability for data loss from the player; make sure that you save a
copy of any important files in several places.

4. Getting started
4.1 Connecting to the computer
N.B. Use only the included cable; it can also be bought as a spare part if you
should happen to lose it.
The player can be connected to or disconnected from the computer without hav-
ing to turn the computer off *. The player will automatically be allocated a device
letter by the computer. The player does not have to be started before transferring
files. The following installation instructions apply for Windows XP (with Service
Pack 2) or later operating system.
Connect the included cable to the player and a USB port on your computer and
transfer the desired music files to the player (refer to 4.3).
* Use "safely remove hardware" when disconnecting the cable from between the
player and the USB port of your computer, i.e. don't pull the cable out whilst data
transfer is in progress.

4.2 Installation/connection using Windows XP
1. No extra driver is required for Windows XP
or Vista.
2. Connect the included USB cable to a vacant
USB port on your computer and to the USB
connection on the player.
3. The computer will automatically recognise
the player as a "removable disk" and
allocate it a device letter in "My Computer"
(the player's internal memory and memory
card will each get their own device letter).
4.3 Transferring files
As soon as the player has been connected you can begin transferring music files.
1. Select the files on your computer. Right-click and Copy the files.
2. Double-click on the device's symbol (e.g. "F"). The device letter can vary
depending on the configuration of your computer.

Right-click on the device and select Paste.
General advice:
You can also use the "drag and drop" method to copy or transfer files from your
computer to the player.
5. Charging the battery
Charge the player's battery via your computer's USB port using the included
cable. It is always advisable to charge the player when:
a.
The player shuts itself off automatically directly after starting.
b. Nothing happens when any of the keys are pressed.
c.
The player shuts itself off automatically during use.

Place the ear clips over your ears, the one labelled (L) is for the
left ear, the one labelled (R) is for the right ear.
7. Care and maintenance
Clean the player by wiping it with a soft cloth and maybe even a little mild detergent.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
8. Troubleshooting
A.
Problem: Nothing happens when you press a button. The player shuts itself
off during playback.
Possible solution: Recharge the battery.
B. Problem: No sound from the earphones.
Possible solution: Check if the volume is set to "0". Damaged MP3 files
can cause problems during playback, check the files.
C. Problem: It is not possible to transfer music to the player.
Possible solution: Check the USB cable and its connection. Check whether
the player's memory is full.
D. Problem: The player can not be read by your computer.
Possible solution: Check the USB cable and its connection. Check that
your computer hasn't frozen/locked itself.
