OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS BROIL With the Smart Cooker™, there’s no need to move oven racks around for broiling; the unit’s compact size means the heating element is always close to the food to achieve beautiful browning while simultaneously allowing you keep a careful eye on the food. For most broiling, use the grill rack on the cooking pan to catch any drippings, and be sure the top of the food is at least 1 inch away from upper heating elements.
