23  Troubleshooting
You can rectify minor faults on your appliance yourself.
Read the troubleshooting information before contacting
after-sales service. This will avoid unnecessary costs.
WARNING ‒ Risk of injury!
Improper repairs are dangerous.
Repairs to the appliance should only be carried out
by trained specialist staff.
If the appliance is defective, call Customer Service.
23.1 Malfunctions
Fault
The appliance is not
working.
"Sprache Deutsch"
appears in the dis-
play.
The operation does
not start or is inter-
rupted.
Appliance does not
heat up.
The time is not dis-
played when the ap-
pliance is switched
off.
Home Connect is not
working properly.
During simple mi-
crowave operation,
the cooking compart-
ment becomes hot.
Cause and troubleshooting
The circuit breaker in the fuse box has tripped.
Check the circuit breaker in the fuse box.
There has been a power cut.
Check whether the lighting in your kitchen or other appliances are working.
Electronics fault
Briefly disconnect the appliance from the power supply by switching off the fuse.

The drying function is switched on.
To prevent condensation from forming when the appliance is in microwave-only mode, the
appliance automatically switches on an additional heating element when it is set to 600 W
or 900 W. The cooking result is not affected by this.
