Care and Cleaning

TO CLEAN THE INSIDE OF THE COFFEEMAKER:
To prolong the life of your coffeemaker, monthly cleaning
is recommended. In areas with hard water more frequent
cleaning is necessary.
1. Pour

cup of plain white vinegar and

reservoir. Place cup on cup rest under pod holder.
2. Press START switch and allow the solution to brew through until
unit shuts off automatically.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 using a new solution of vinegar and cold water.
4. Empty cup and rinse. Pour one cup of cold tap water into the
reservoir. Place cup under pod holder.
5. Press START switch. When the brew cycle is finished, empty the cup.
Repeat this process with one more cup of cold tap water.
6. If necessary, repeat Step 5 to remove any remaining
vinegar taste.
7. Wash cup and pod holder before making a beverage.
TO CLEAN THE OUTSIDE OF COFFEEMAKER:
1. Unplug coffeemaker and allow to cool before cleaning.
2. Occasionally wipe the water spreader area, above the pod holder,
with a clean, damp cloth to remove oils and residues resulting from
the ground coffee.
3. To clean all other outside surfaces of the coffeemaker use a clean,
damp cloth.

wear supplied with or a part of this product. This warranty does not cover defects
resulting from abuse, neglect, including failure to follow manufacturer's cleaning
instructions, or any use not in conformity with the printed directions. Always use
this product in accordance with the Operation Manual.
