- Plug into outlet.
- Slide out brew basket.
For regular coffee:
Add 2 Tbsp. (10 g) (for 8 oz. [237 ml] cup) coffee grounds into brew basket.
For stronger coffee:
Add additional coffee. (Do not exceed MAX level of filter basket).

- Fill cup with up to 12 ounces (355 ml) of cold water.
- Pour water carefully into reservoir (behind brew basket) and lower reservoir lid.
- Place cup under brew basket.
NOTE: Once the START button is pressed, the unit will brew for one cycle. If the START button has been pressed with no water in the reservoir, allow the unit to complete one brew cycle and the power ON indicator light will go out. If the brew cycle needs to be stopped during brewing, unplug unit.

- Press START button. The power ON indicator light will light up to show that coffee maker is on. Coffee maker will shut off automatically and light will go off when brew cycle is completed.
- When coffee maker has cooled, use tab on front of brew basket to slide out brew basket and dispose of coffee grounds.
NOTE: For best results, allow coffee maker to cool for 1 minute between brewing cycles.
Care and cleaning
To clean inside of coffee maker: To prolong the life of your coffee maker, monthly cleaning is recommended. In areas with hard water, more frequent cleaning is necessary.
- Pour 1 cup (237 ml) of plain white vinegar into reservoir. Place cup on cup rest under brew basket.
- Press START button once. After 30 seconds, unplug coffee maker.
- Wait 30 minutes to allow vinegar to clean. Then plug into outlet. When brew cycle is finished, wait for unit to cool.
- Empty cup and rinse. Pour 1 cup (237 ml) of cold tap water into reservoir. Place cup under brew basket.
- Press START button. When brew cycle is finished, empty cup. Repeat this process with one more cup of cold tap water.
- If necessary, repeat Step 5 to remove any remaining vinegar taste

Electrical Shock Hazard.
Disconnect power before cleaning. Do not immerse cord, plug, or coffee maker in any liquid.
- Unplug coffee maker and allow to cool before cleaning.
- Occasionally wipe water spreader area, above brew basket, with a clean, damp cloth to remove oils and residues.
- Permanent brew basket may be washed in dishwasher.
- To clean all other outside surfaces of coffee maker, use a clean, damp cloth.
Troubleshooting
Power/light is on.
Once the START button has been pressed, the unit will brew for one brew cycle and power off. After the light turns off, allow the unit 1 minute to cool before using again.
Weak coffee.
Increase amount of ground coffee.
