ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: Read entire instruction sheet be-
fore assembling or installing mantel kit.
These mantels are only approved for use with
any FMI PRODUCTS, LLC 32'' electric and gas
fireplace systems. Do not use mantel with any
other product.

Note: Gather all mantel pieces together before assembling
mantel.
WARNING: Only use 1 1/4" screws to as-
semble mantel. Damage to mantel will result if
other screws are used for this purpose.

- Page 3 FIREPLACE INSTALLATION 1¼'' Screws 1. Fireplace should be fully assembled. See Assembling Fireplace in fireplace owner’s manual. Header #4 2. Mantel must be installed flush with two walls. Remove baseboard along walls where mantel is to be installed. Heat Reflector Baseboard will prevent proper installation of mantel and Strip base. 3. Place mantel base close to installation location. See fire- place owner’s manual for installation clearances. Leave enough room to insert fireplace from back of mantel. 4. If installing gas fireplace, install gas line. See Connecting Figure 5 - Installing Heat Reflector Strip to Gas Supply in fireplace owner’s manual. Remember to leave access to gas shutoff valve somewhere on mantel IMPORTANT: Make sure heat reflector strip is flush against base or where it is accessible to user. Check for leaks.
- Page 4 ELECTRIC FIREPLACE INSTALLATION MANTEL INSTALLATION This mantel can be used with FMI PRODUCTS, LLC electric 1. Carefully push mantel and base into position in corner fireplaces. Place right trim strip on right side of top and left trim on left Vertical Support Installation side of top.
