Location and Function of Parts

1 MAIN-BACKUP connector (D-sub 25-pin,
female)
Used for dual operation using two BKPF-R70 boards.
Connect to the MAIN-BACKUP connector on another
BKPF-R70 using a 25-pin straight cable (available on
the market).
Note
The connector has a pin for power connection. If the
connection is made using the cable not designated, the
internal fuse may be blown. When replacing the fuse,
be sure to use the one of the specified capacity.
2 REMOTE3 connector (D-sub 9-pin, male)
Used to connect to the RS-232C connector of a
personal computer. This makes one of the functions of
setting terminal, data backup, or ISR available.
To connect an IBM PC/AT compatible computer, use
an RS-232C cross cable (available on the market).
The function to be used is selected with the S2
(TERM/ISR) switch on the board.
TERM: The setting terminal function or data backup
function using a supplied BZR-10 is activated.
When the power is turned on, the computer waits
for you to activate the setting terminal function by
pressing the [Ctrl] and [X] keys. Pressing the
[Ctrl] and [X] keys again retrieves the status when
the power was turned on.
However, if you have the BZR-10 installed, the
data backup function is automatically activated.

Used for control with an RS-422 interface.
The input control signals are converted to the S-BUS
signals in the BKPF-R70.
4 REMOTE1 A, B, C connectors (BNC type)
Used to connect other devices using an S-BUS line.
For a dual operation using two BKPF-R70 boards,
connect the corresponding A, B and C connectors on
the two boards using T bridges and coaxial cables
(available on the market). To terminate the remote
