CONTROLS BACTERIA AND ALGAE in Storable Swimming pool Waters.
DOMESTIC
A Maximum of 40,000 L (10,567 gal) of water can be treated with one Krystal Clear Saltwater System ® & Filter
Pump Model CS8111. Maximum output of hypochlorous acid equivalent to 0.113 kg (0.249 lb) of free
available chlorine per day. Copper electrodes are more than 400 grams and output current to 175 mA
(360mg/h).
For swimming pools, 1.0-3.0ppm of free available chlorine must be maintained. This level may be
lowered to 0.6-3.0ppm of free available chlorine once the copper concentration has reached the
required level, but not below 0.6ppm of free available chlorine. Copper ions level 0.2 - 0.3 ppm.

EXPLOSION. Staining of pool surfaces may occur due to deposits of copper salts. Excessive levels
of copper will increase the probability of this occurrence.
