Operation

Description of the Appliance

Preparing the Appliance
Using the attachment with a garden
pump:

Install the pressure switch vertically di-
rectly at the outlet of the pressure side
of the pump in the household water sys-
tem.
Start the pump according to the instruc-
tions in the Operations manual.
Note
A suction line with backflow valve can be
used on the garden pump.
Using the attachment with an immersion
pump:

Install the pressure switch into the
household water system at a point
where it is protected against flooding
and spray water.
Secure the pressure switch a suitable
fastener (such as rope) to prevent it
from slipping and falling into the fluid to
be transported.
Further steps:
Insert the mains plug of the pump in the
socket on the pressure switch.
Insert the plug of the pressure switch
into the socket.
The pressure switch turns the pump on
immediately and off after approximately
10
15 seconds, when all outlets are closed
and pressure has built up in the system.
The system is now ready for use
Press the reset (Reset) switch if the
pump does not switch on automatically
or the pump needs to be restarted re-
peatedly.
Open the water tap / valve of the house-
hold water system.
The pump is switched on.
Close the water tap / valve of the house-
hold water system.
Pump will continue running for 15 sec
and will be switched off.
Finish operation
Disconnect the main plug from the
socket.

Maintenance and Care

Danger
Turn off the appliance and remove the
mains plug prior to any care and mainte-
nance work.
Note:
Contaminations can accumulate and lead
to malfunctions.
Rinse the appliance with clean water af-
ter every use.
The appliance is maintenance-free.
Caution
In order to prevent accidents or injuries,
keep in mind the weight of the appliance
when selecting a storage location for it (see
Specifications).
Storing the Appliance
Store the appliance in a frost free area.
