• IC4003 (IXA998WJ)
EEPROM for storing 10-bit gamma correction and cross-talk correction data.
Data is read into IXB001WJ on start-up. (The master is IC4004.)
• IC4101, IC4201 (IXB002WJ)
QS driver.
Uses the QS (Quick Shoot) for the input signal from the picture quality correction/left-right split IC, according to the
temperature parameter setting from monitor microprocessor, and outputs 2 types of signals (for upper LCD controller
and lower LCD controller) from LVDS. Also controls FIFO (IC4102, IC4202: RH-IXA986WJZZQ) used for calculation.
IC4101 outputs the right image data and IC 4201 outputs the left image data.
• IC4102, IC4202 (IXA986WJ)
26Mbit FIFO.
Memories for operation of QS.
• IC4103, IC4203 (IXA999WJ)
EEPROM for storing QS parameters.
Data is read into QS driver on a frame-by-frame basis.
• IC4301, IC4302, IC6401, IC6402 (IXB003WJ)
LCD controller.
Receives RGB signal of LVDS sent from the QS driver (of right and left screen), and outputs image signal (RSDS) to
LCD panel. IC4301/IC6401 output the right image data and IC4302/IC6402 output the left image data. IC4301 outputs
control signal for activating the upper LCD panel and IC6402 outputs for activating the lower LCD panel. This IC
controls dimmer and creates the control signal of the CS circuit. IC4301 connects to each circuit.
• IC4401 (IXB036WJ)
Sync signal discrimination/CS (chip select) signal output IC.
This IC counts the synchronization and determines if the input signal is i) no sync, ii) 1080p 60Hz, iii) VGA or iv) others
when only the monitor is active. CS (chip select) signal of most of the ICs, controlled by 3-line serial, is generated by
this IC.
• IC4504, IC6602 (IXA706WJ)
Gradation reference power supply for TFT LCD. It incorporates a gradation output buffer amplifier 18 circuit, CMOS
buffer amplifier and reference voltage generator.
• IC2203 (IXA870WJ)
Monitor microprocessor. It performs OSD control of the monitor section, panel temperature detection by a thermistor,
temperature parameter setting against QS driver, timing setting against LCD controller, dimmer data setting, power
supply control of the monitor section, power supply line monitoring, remote control decoding and OPC control.
• IC4808, IC1703 (MD1422N)
DC/DC converter IC.
At IC4808, 8V for panel power supply (15V, -7V, 32V) is generated from 12V, and at IC1703, 3.3V (2-system) for
controller PWB is generated from 12V.
• IC4503, IC4505, IC6601, IC6603 (IXA867WJ)
10-bit DAC. It generates gradation power supply voltage of the panel.
• IC5301 (SiI1161)
DVI receiver.
DVI receiver with jitter correction (equalizer) of TMDS signals. Outputs one-phase image data with RGB of 8 bits each.
This IC does not decode HDCP.
• IC5401 (SiI160G)
DVI transmitter.
Converts one-phase RGB image signal sent from SiI1161 to TMDS differential signal.
