When brake pedal is not depressed, pressing the Push Start/Stop Button will change the engine mode.

Shift lever not in P
The Push Start/Stop Button
allows you to start and stop the
engine without inserting a key
into ignition.
TO STOP ENGINE
1 Stop vehicle completely.
2 Apply parking brake & shift lever to P.
3 Press engine switch.
4 Release brake pedal (make sure engine
switch indicator off).
`OFF´*
QEnable hazard lights.
ON
`ACC´
QEnable electrical components.
(such as accessory sockets)
`ON´
QEnable all electrical components.
* The engine switch will be set to `ACC´
and not `OFF´ if the shift lever is other
than P position.
