Hard Drive Bracket Installation
This document describes how to install a 3.5-inch hard drive into a bracket so that the hard drive can be
installed into a 5.25-inch bay.
For product-specific information on installing the hard drive in a 5.25-inch bay, refer to the Service and
Technical Reference Guide for your HP Workstation at
http://www.hp.com/support/workstation_manuals.
Installing the Bracket
1. Lower the hard drive into the bracket and secure the drive by inserting four #6-32 screws (shipped
with this kit) through the holes in the sides of the bracket and into the threaded holes in the hard drive.
2. Refer to the Service and Technical Reference Guide for your HP Workstation for instructions on
installing the hard drive into the 5.25-inch bay.
