10.1.2 Fitting the cover plate

Table 50: Tightening torque (42099)
1. Remove air suction branch with bellows, wall insert, compressor casing and cartridge
group.
2. Close opening in bearing casing with gasket (02) and cover plate (01).
3. Secure cover plate (01) with spacer sleeve (03) and screws (42099).

4. Re-fit the compressor casing, the wall insert and air suction branch with bellows.
CAUTION
Escaping lubricating oil
Complete sealing of the lubricating oil supply is not guaranteed with the
cover plate fitted.
Close lubricating oil supply to high-pressure stage at engine side.
