    Never adjust a section when it supports the full weight of the patient! Each section of this Manumed ST is supported by gas springs. As well as easing operation, they offer full support of the sections. However, these gas springs are not strong enough to lift a section while it supports the full weight of the patient.

This is required to guarantee a hygienic use.
