Map KF318 Programming Instructions

Programming instructions for KF318 / KF319

Before commencing, ensure all existing remotes are available as they may require
re-programming during this procedure. Headlights must also be turned off.

Camry

1. Open the driver's door (all other doors must be closed).
2. Insert key into the ignition and cycle from ACC to ON position 3 times within 5 seconds. (ACC-ON,
ACC-ON, ACC-ON) resting in the ON position. PROG will now appear in the clock display.
3. Press the button on the remote to be programmed, the hazard lights will flash once. Repeat above
steps for any additional remotes to be matched. Ensure PROG still appears in the clock LCD display.

Avalon

1. Open the driver's door (all other doors must be closed).
2. Insert key into the ignition and cycle from OFF to ON position 3 times within 5 seconds. (ACC-ON,
ACC-ON, ACC-ON) resting in the ON position. The Security LED will illuminate continuously for 5
seconds.
3. While the Security LED is illuminated, press a button on the remote control, the hazard lights will
now flash.
4. Repeat above steps for any additional remotes to be matched. Ensure Security LED is still
illuminated.
Once successfully completed, remove the key from the ignition and exit the vehicle.
