Changing the Consumed Oil

Please change consumed oil or fat, when it becomes dark or the smell
changes.
Always change the entire oil. Do not mix consumed and unconsumed fat.
Do not dispose of the oil / cooking fat in the rubbish bin, but collect it e.g. in
empty tetra composite packaging or empty canisters and dispose it of eco-
friendly at a buyback centre.

Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing

Switch off the deep fat fryer before cleaning. Unplug the power plug and let
the unit completely cool down. Do not tear at the cable but use the power
plug to unplug the unit.
Disconnect the deep fat fryer from the power supply, when you do not use
the unit. Only in this way you can be sure, that the unit is completely turned
off and remains switched off.
To clean the control unit (9), remove it from the housing. You can pull it out
upwards.
The control unit has a safety switch, so it operates only in connection with
the housing.
After cleaning the control unit, insert it into the bearing and push it
completely to the bottom.
Clean the housing (8) and the lid (5) only with a slightly moistened cloth
and dry it thoroughly. Use detergent when needed. Do not put the unit into
a dishwasher and do not immerse it into water or any other liquid. Before
using again the deep fat fryer, dry the unit completely.
Clean the cooking fat / oil container with a moistened sponge or the like
and remove all food and oil rests. Loosen food rests only with a wood or
plastic fork to avoid damaging the surface. Dry the container thoroughly
after cleaning. Make sure that there is no more water in the container when
heating.
Do not use any sharp detergents or aggressive chemicals or metallic or
sharp items to clean the deep fat fryer in order to avoid damaging the
surfaces.
