Changing the Consumed Oil

Please change consumed oil or fat, when it gets darker or when the taste
changes. Always change the entire oil. Do not mix consumed and uncon-
sumed fat.
Do not dispose of the oil/cooking fat in the rubbish bin, but collect it using an
empty tetra composite packaging or empty canister and dispose off environ-
mentally friendly at a collection station.

Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing

Switch off the deep fat fryer before cleaning. Unplug the power plug and let
the unit completely cool down. Disconnect the deep fat fryer from the power
supply, when you do not use the unit. Only this way you can be sure, that
the unit is completely turned off and remains switched off.
Remove the control unit it from the housing if you want to clean it. You can
pull it out upwards. The control unit has a safety switch, so it operates only
in connection with the housing. After cleaning the control unit, insert it into
the bearing and push it completely to the bottom.
Clean the housing (7) and the lid only with
a slightly moistened cloth and dry it
thoroughly. Use detergent when needed.
Do not put the unit into a dishwasher and
do not immerse it into water or other liquids.
Dry the deep fat fryer completely before
using it again. If necessary, unscrew the
screws of the permanent filter on the lid and
remove all components. Clean all parts with
warm soapy water.
Clean the cooking oil container with a moistened sponge or the like and
remove all food and oil leftovers. Loosen food leftovers only with a wood or
plastic fork to avoid damaging the surface. Dry the container thoroughly
after cleaning. Make sure that there is no more water in the container when
heating the oil.
Do not use any sharp detergents or aggressive chemicals or metallic or
sharp items to clean the deep fat fryer.
