Changing the
Backroom BIB
Ingredients
HFCS (High-Fructose Corn Syrup) and the
Diet Coke® brand are two ingredients
stored in BIBs in your backroom.
BIBs are consumed
quickly, so a primary
and a backup box are connected for both
ingredients. It is critical that these BIBs
are checked regularly and replaced as
soon as they are consumed.
At least twice a day, check if any

Diet Coke® and HFCS BIBs are
empty by lifting each box to check
its weight.
If a BIB is empty replace it.

(Follow the procedures as shown.)
If both the primary and backup BIBs

have been replaced, then it will be
necessary to return to the Crew
Dashboard on each Freestyle
dispenser and press the red "Sold
Out" alert to reset.
NOTE:
HFCS and Diet Coke® indicators
display a green dot on the Crew Dashboard
when successfully reset.

Confi rm which
BIB is empty by
checking its
weight.
Turn connector

counterclockwise
to loosen.(Use a
clean, sanitized
towel to catch any
spills.)

Remove
connector and
replace with
new HFCS
sweetener BIB.

Operational Basics
Rinse the connector in clean,
warm water. Scrub using the
blunt end of the nozzle &
injector ring brush (#149326)
and Kay-5 sanitizer. Wait two
minutes and repeat with
clean sanitizer.
Open the box and pull out
the fi tment.
CAUTION:
DO NOT
USE A SHARP OBJECT TO OPEN.
NOTE:
Make sure to place HFCS BIB
with the fi tment end facing
downward.
Attach the connector
to the fi tment and turn
clockwise to tighten.
