Using Automatic SuperCool, SuperFrost, and DynaCool
DynaCool
When the DynaCool function is not
switched on, the natural circulation of
air in the appliance will cause different
temperature zones in the refrigerator
section, as the cold, heavy air will sink
to the lowest section of the appliance.
You should keep this in mind when
placing food in the appliance (see
"Storing food in the refrigerator sec-
tion").
However, if you are storing a large
amount of similar food in the refrigera-
tor at any one time, e.g., after your
weekly shop, it is a good idea to turn
on DynaCool. This way you can dis-
tribute the temperature more evenly
across all the shelves so that all the
food in the refrigerator section will be
chilled to about the same degree.
The temperature can still be set.
Also switch on the DynaCool func-
tion when:
- The ambient temperature is high
(above approx. 85°F/30°C)
- The humidity levels are high (e.g., in
the summer)
The fan will always switch on automat-
ically when the compressor switches
on.
Tip: As the energy consumption in-
creases when DynaCool is switched
on, you should turn the DynaCool func-
tion off again under normal condi-
tions.
To save energy, the fan turns off auto-
matically while the door is open.
