NOTE:
This procedures only applies for computers shipped with a 4-cell battery (64 Wh) installed.
The following image(s) indicate the location of the 4-cell battery (64 Wh) and provides a visual representation of the removal
procedure.
Steps
1. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
NOTE:
This step is applicable only if the battery cable has not been disconnected.
2. Remove the five screws (M2x3) that secure the 4-cell battery to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Lift the 4-cell battery off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
