Cleaning Instructions

To clean the screen, make sure the fan is off� Remove
the four (4) screws� Clean with mild soap and water
only�
CAUTION
Do not operate the fan with the screen removed as
this could result in damage or injury.

Fuse

To change the 5 Amp fuse:
1� Make sure the fan is off�
2� Remove the cap by turning it to the left to gain
access�
3� Replace with a type GMA 5A fast-acting fuse
4� Replace the cap to secure the fuse in the holder�

Furnace

The thermostat for the furnace is located on the control
panel on the roadside wall above the bench seat�
The furnace burns LP gas and operates on a 12-volt
current from the batteries, or when connected to city
power, works on a 12-volt current from the converter�
Operating instructions can be found in your owner's
packet� If they become misplaced, new literature can
be ordered directly from the manufacturer or your
Airstream dealer� The manufacturer also offers a
detailed service guide for your furnace�
Carefully read all the manufacturer's instructions
prior to operating. NEVER store flammable material
next to the furnace or in close proximity to the
furnace exhaust outlet on the side of the touring
coach.
NOTE
If warranty service is required, use only a
service location recommended by the furnace
manufacturer or your Airstream dealer.

WARNING

Water Heater

To access the water heater, lift the roadside bench
seat� The water heater controller is located on the
control panel on the roadside wall above the bench�
Your Airstream is equipped with a continuous water
heater featuring 60K BTU output, freeze protection,
and direct spark ignition� The tankless water heater
monitors inlet water temperature and flow, and output
water temperature and flow.
NOTE
Review the water heater literature supplied in your
owner's packet before proceeding.
The following representation depicts valve settings
for normal operation� The valves are open when the
handles are in line with the water line� When winterizing
or storing for long periods, it is recommended to close
the water heater inlet and outlet valves;

CAUTION
This appliance does not have a pilot. It is equipped
with an ignition device which automatically lights
the burner. Do not try to light the burner by hand.
