Water Filtration

The smart faucet system in your trailer utilizes UV-LED
technology to purify potable water The system is only
designed to reduce normally occurring non-pathogenic
nuisance microorganisms found in safe drinking water
and is not intended to treat contaminated water Visit
wwwacuvatechcom
for more information about the
system's capabilities
The system has three main components: the pre-filter,
the UV-LED water purifier, and the smart faucet. The
pre-filter and UV-LED purifier are under the galley.
The in-line pre-filter lasts up to 4000 gallons (6 to 12
months based on regular usage) It is recommended
to replace the in-line filter after winterization before
the start of a new season To order,
Filtration Pre-filter on page 8-4
Procedure on page 8-14

Replacing the Pre-Filter

Start by laying a towel down and place a container
under the filter to catch any dripping water.
1 Shut the water off to the filtration system. Locate
the water line leading to the pre-filter and close the
attached valve
2 Rotate the filter 1/4 turn to the left to remove it.
Place it on its end (outlet down) to drain
3 Attach the new filter and rotate until the triangle
mark is aligned with the connection mark
4 Return the valve to the open position
5 Check for leaks Run the faucet for 5 minutes to
flush out air and any residue from manufacturing.
Follow the filter manufacturer's instructions to
prepare the filter for use.

and after every 12 hours of idle time and can be safely
interrupted to dispense water
Yellow/Red Light: There is a fault You can attempt
to cycle the power on and off by turning your trailer's
battery disconnect switch off and back on If you
still have a yellow or red light, please contact your
