Recording to Two SD Cards Simultaneously
(Dual Recording)
The dual recording function allows recording to be performed to two SD
cards simultaneously.
When trouble occurs with one of the SD cards while recording is in progress,
you can continue recording with the other card. In other words, you do not
have to worry about losing files that you have already recorded.

Prepare the SD cards.
Try to make use of two SD cards of the same manufacturer and model.

The media indicator shows S when "DUAL REC" is set to "ON".

Displays the remaining recording time in the SD card in each of the

When Q or R appears blinking, no SD card is inserted into that slot.

Memo :
When dual recording cannot be performed, such as when there is only

one SD card inserted, recording is performed to only one SD card.
When the remaining space runs out on one of the SD cards while recording

is in progress, you can continue recording in the other card if there is free
space.
Dual recording cannot be performed when you are setting Special

Recording.
Dual recording cannot be performed when "VIDEO REC FORMAT" is set

to "MOV".
Seamless recording cannot be performed when "DUAL REC" is set to

"ON".
Even when "DUAL REC" is set to "ON", still images cannot be recorded

simultaneously to two SD cards.
