    Equipment guidelines Grounding equipment must include either a wrist strap or a foot strap at a grounded workstation. ● When seated, wear a wrist strap connected to a grounded system. Slide and hold the left battery release latch (2) to release the battery. Pull the battery tab (3), and then remove the battery from the computer.

    Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. Remove the battery cover and battery (see Remove the memory module: Press in on the SIM (1) to release it from the SIM slot. Remove the SIM (2) from the SIM slot.

Remove the memory module/wireless module compartment cover. The memory module/wireless module compartment cover is included in the Door Kit, spare part number 608384-001. Disconnect the WLAN antenna cables from the terminals on the WLAN module.
