    The User's Manual describes the installation, setup and operation of the projector and provides assistance to the installation personnel and the end-user to fully develop the performance of the projector. It is not necessary to point the remote directly at the projector. Provided you are not holding the remote perpendicular to the sides or the rear of the projector, the remote will function well within a radius of about 10 meters (25 feet) and 15 degrees above or below the projector level.

Generally, the light source facing the screen should be reduced or eliminated as much as possible. The contrast of the image will be obviously reduced if the light directly shines on the screen, such as the beam from windows or the searchlight cast on the image.

    DU6771 DLP Projector User Manual Installing or Removing the Optional Lens  Before removing or installing the lens, be sure to turn off the projector and wait till the cooling fans stop, and turn off the main power switch.  Do not shake or place excessive pressure on the projector or the lens components as the projector and lens components contain precision parts.

Once the projector is correctly located and the power cable and other connections are in place, it is important that the projector is powered on correctly in order to avoid damage to components and un-necessary wear and tear.

    DU6771 DLP Projector User Manual Turning off the Projector Once the projector is no longer required, it is important to shut it down correctly to avoid damage or unnecessary wear and tear to the projector.  Do not unplug the power cable from the wall outlet or projector when the projector is powered on. Doing so can cause damage to the AC IN connector of the project or the prong plug of the power cable.

The lens shift range is shown in the percentage of the screen height and width, the maximum vertical shift range can be up to 64% of the projected image height and down to 33% of the height, and maximum horizontal shift range is 24% of the image width to right, 14% of the image width to the left.

LAN and HDBaseT share the one port. If only network control is used, you can connect the LAN on the projector to PC or through the local network. With HDBaseT Transmitter (optional), the video, RS-232 and LAN signals can be sent to the projector via a single RJ-45 cable. If the HDBaseT Transmitter you purchased supports the input and output of the IR remote control, the control signals from the IR remote control can be sent to the projector via the RJ-45 cable.

In most cases, the correct color space can be selected automatically by Auto mode. If the selection is not correct, you can use a specific color space forcibly by selecting one of the following options: Auto: The projector detects the input signal and switches to the corresponding color space automatically.

     Lamp life may differ from lamp to lamp and according to the environment of use. There is no guarantee of the same life for each lamp.  Purchase the lamp module produced by Vivitek only. Using the lamp that is not made by Vivitek may affect the performance of the projector or damage the projector.

    DU6771 DLP Projector User Manual Replacing the Filter The projector uses one high-density filter to keep the fans and lamp free of dust, other particles, and should be cleaned every 500 hours of operation. In dusty environments, it is recommended to clean the filters more frequently. If the filter is dirty or clogged, your projector may overheat and enter system protection status.
