5. Slide the hard drive assembly into the hard drive bay.
You can secure the hard drive assembly in the hard drive
NOTE:
bay with one of the single-bay security screws or dual-bay
security screws included with the computer. For information, refer
to "Securing Devices in the Hard Drive Bay and MultiBay" in
Chapter 13.

Inserting a Hard Drive into the MultiBay

If you are moving a hard drive from the hard drive bay to the
MultiBay, remove the hard drive from the hard drive tray. For
instructions, refer to "Removing a Hard Drive from the Hard
Drive Bay" in this chapter.
If you are inserting an optional hard drive, remove the metal
hard drive from the packing materials.
To insert a hard drive into the MultiBay, you need an Armada
7000 Hard Drive MultiBay Adapter. This adapter is included with
the purchase of an optional Armada 7700 hard drive.
You can also purchase an Armada 7000 Hard Drive
NOTE:
MultiBay Adapter separately. For the name of your nearest
Compaq authorized dealer, reseller, or service provider, refer to
"Worldwide Telephone Numbers" in Appendix A.
