    The battery charger gets hot during use. The charger’s heat can build up to unsafe levels and create a fire hazard if it does not receive adequate ventilation, due to an electrical fault, or if it is used in a hot environment.

The grounding prong in the plug is connected through the green wire in- side the cord to the grounding system in the tool.

    Make sure the extension cord is prop- erly wired and in good electrical con- dition. Always replace a damaged extension cord or have it repaired by a qualified electrician before using it. Protect the extension cords from sharp objects, excessive heat, and damp or wet areas.

Charge on non-flammable surface and keep away from flammable items. Turn charger off when battery is charged, and unplug charger from battery-powered device.

  • Page 12 The different sizes of Bit Adapters (62) are an indication of how much torque the Cordless Drill/Driver will apply to the bit before the clutch slips, allowing the bit to stop and helping to prevent damage to the screw, bit, or workpiece.
  • Page 13: Cleaning And Maintenance

    Bit breaks through the workpiece. When you have drilled the hole, remove the Bit from the hole while the Cordless Drill is still running. This prevents the Bit from getting caught in the hole and causing damage. Release Trigger to stop the Drill, put Direction Lever in the center position, and remove the bit from the Drill.
