Overview
Introduction
This is a user guide for the home ventilation units HCV 4/ HCV 5 from Dantherm A/S.
The table of contents below provides an overview of the sections contained in the man-
ual.
Serial number
For future inquiries concerning e.g. spare parts, please note the exact serial number of
the unit here: ______________________
This guide covers units with serial numbers that are equal to or higher than:
Warning
The power supply must not be connected before the duct system is mounted.
The valve unit must not be used to dry out newly constructed houses, either during or
immediately after construction.
The ducts must be sealed, and the unit must not be connected to them until the house
is move-in ready, that is, clean and dried out. This is to prevent building dust and con-
densed water from accumulating in the duct system and ventilation unit, which may
present a risk of hygiene problems later on.
A failure to comply with these requirements will result in the cancellation of the guaran-
tee on the unit, and any subsequent type of required service will be carried out at the
customer's expense.
