Connecting and disconnecting a trailer (Vehicles with height control system)
If a height control system is installed in your vehicle, you have to connect
and disconnect your trailer more carefully.
● Connecting
Set the electronically modulated air suspension to "LO" mode.
STEP 1
Press the height control off switch to turn off the electronically
STEP 2
modulated air suspension.
Turn off the "POWER" switch.
STEP 3
Connect the trailer.
STEP 4
Turn on the "POWER" switch.
STEP 5
Press the height control off switch again to turn on the electroni-
STEP 6
cally modulated air suspension.
Set the electronically modulated air suspension to "N" mode.
STEP 7
● Disconnecting
Set the electronically modulated air suspension to "LO" mode.
STEP 1
Press the height control off switch to turn off the electronically
STEP 2
modulated air suspension.
Turn off the "POWER" switch.
STEP 3
Set the supporting leg of the trailer on the ground and raise the
STEP 4
hitch by 4 in. (100 mm)
Turn on the "POWER" switch.
STEP 5
Press the height control off switch again to turn on the electroni-
STEP 6
cally modulated air suspension.
Wait until vehicle height is stabilized.
STEP 7
Make sure the hitch is disconnected. If the hitch does not discon-
STEP 8
nect, raise the hitch higher and repeat steps 2 through 7.
Move the vehicle forward in "LO" mode where the hitch does not

touch anything in "N" mode.
Set the height control of electronically modulated air suspension
