e) HOLD function
• With the HOLD function, the current measurement value is shown on the display and the
measurement process is put on hold.
• Enable the function by pressing the HOLD/
the function.
• <
> appears on the display when the function is enabled.
• You can continue measuring after you have disabled the function.
f) Recording minimum and maximum values
• With the minimum/maximum value function, minimum and maximum values can be
registered and displayed on the LCD display.
• Enable the function by pressing the MAX/MIN button (3). Disable the function by pressing
the MAX/MIN button for approximately 2 seconds. The values on the display disappear.
• Minimum value: To display minimum values, keep pressing the MAX/MIN button until
< MIN > appears on the LCD display.
• Maximum value: To display maximum values, keep pressing the MAX/MIN button until
< MAX > appears on the LCD display.
• Difference: If you wish to view the difference between the maximum and the minimum
values, keep pressing the MAX/MIN button until < MAXMIN > appears on the LCD display.
g) REL function
• The REL function allows you to take a benchmark measurement to avoid potential line
losses. The current display value is set to zero and saved as a new benchmark value.
• Press the REL button (6) to enable the function. < REL > appears on the display. Press
the REL button again to turn the function off. < REL > disappears from the display. The
benchmark value is reset when the function is turned off.
• The LCD display shows the measured deviations from the benchmark value.
