Operation

1.
See Typical Measurements for specific measuring instructions.
2.
Test the unit on an object with a known temperature.
• If the unit does not function as expected on an object of known temperature, replace
the battery.
• If the unit still does not function as expected, send the unit to Greenlee for repair.

Point the temperature sensor at the object to be measured. Press the trigger. "SCAN" and
the temperature scale indicator will appear on the display.
4.
Release the trigger. "SCAN" will disappear and "HOLD" will appear to indicate that the unit
is holding the last recorded temperature on the display.
To change between Celsius and Fahrenheit: Press the trigger, then press the C/F selector.
To perform other functions, see the Using Advanced Features section.
Locating a Hot Spot
To find a hot spot, aim the gun outside the area of interest, then scan across with an up and
down motion.
