Firmware Upgrade (GolfBuddy Plus only)
1. For Window XP users (bottom left of your Windows has a "Start" menu):
There should be a peach or orange colored box which states "You have to install Active X
and USB driver before downloading"
Click on the "USB driver (Golf Buddy Plus)." This will
ask you to Run, Save or Cancel. Select "Run".
Run this install shied wizard.
2. For Window Vista Users (bottom left of your Windows has a windows logo):
There should be 4 blue boxes on the right of the homepage. Click on the box titled : "Firmware
Upgrade".
3. Look for No.7 which states "Install an ActiveX control manually for Window Vista users (beta version)and
click.
4. Click on:
GB+DriverInstall_Vista2.exe
5. A security warning will then ask you if you would like to Run, Save, or Cancel. Select "Run". Run the install
shield wizard. Once it has completely finished, return to the firmware upgrade list.
6. Go all the way down to the bottom under no. 1. There is a link titled Upgrade your
GolfBuddy firmware manually, click on this link.
7. This should bring up a FirmwareUpgradeMng_All2.exe link, click on this link. Your
computer will now ask you to Run, Save, or Cancel. Select Run.
