When any of the messages listed below appears on the projected image, address the problem in
accordance with the table below.
Message
Clean the filter.
Projector temperature is
high. The light will turn
off in 1 minute.
Frequency is out of
range!
Please check Input-A
Signal Sel.
Clean the filter.
Projector temperature is
high.
Switching to High
Altitude Mode.
Not applicable!
The panel keys are

Messages List
Meaning/Remedy
Check the items below.
• Check to see if nothing is blocking the ventilation holes.
• Check to see if the air filter is not clogged.
• Check if "Installation Attitude" on the Installation menu is
correctly selected.
Change the output setting of the connected equipment to one
for signals supported by the projector.
Set "Input-A Signal Sel." to "Auto" or select the input signal
type to suit to the input signal.
At an altitude of 1,500 m or higher, if you are not using the
projector, check the items below.
• Check that nothing is blocking the ventilation holes.
• Check that the air filter is not clogged.
• Check if "Installation Attitude" on the Installation menu is
correctly selected.
Invalid key pressed.
"Panel Key Lock" is set to "On."
"Lens Control" is set to "Off."
The function is locked by external control.
The ?/1 key was pressed and the projector will be shut down
soon. To cancel shutdown, press the ?/1 key again (the
projector will remain on). To turn off the projector directly,
press and hold the ?/1 key.
Reduces light output when "With Static Signal" is set. When
any change in signal is detected, or an operation (remote
control or control panel) is performed, normal brightness is
restored.
Although "Constant Brightness" is selected, the brightness that
is set cannot be maintained.
It is necessary to change the light source unit to return to the
original brightness. Consult with qualified Sony personnel.
