Operating the SiriusXM Radio
SCAN
- The scan function gives you a sampling
of all channels while in the channel mode. In the
category mode, only the channels within that
category are scanned. To activate scan, press the
SCAN button. The system plays each channel for
a few seconds, then selects the next channel in
numerical order. When you hear a channel you want
to continue listening to, press the button again.
Preset
- You can store 12 preset channels: six for
XM1 and six for XM2.
To store a channel, follow these steps:
1.
Press the AUX button. Either XM1 or XM2 will
show in the display.
2.
Use the tune, seek, or scan function to tune to a
desired channel.
In category mode, you can tune only to channels
within that category. In channel mode, you can tune
to all channels.

Pick a preset number you want for that channel.
Press and hold that side of the button until you
hear a beep.
4.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to store the fi rst six
channels.
5.
Press the AUX button again. Repeat steps 2
and 3 to store the next six channels.
Once a channel is stored, press and release the
proper side of the preset button to tune to it.
