Using the low-cut filter

Use the low-cut filter if you want to cut noise and
other sounds at low frequencies. This function
can be used to reduce air-conditioning noise and
unpleasant wind noise, for example.

Overview of recording modes

This recorder has five recording modes.
Use the
REC MODE
to set the recording mode. The settings available are
different for each recording mode.
MENU
MONO mode
This is a mode for mono recording.

STEREO mode (default value)
This is a mode for stereo recording of two
independent left and right channels.

DUAL MONO mode
This mode uses one input source to create files at
two different input levels (set on

DUAL ST mode
This mode uses one input source to create files at
two different input levels (set on

4CH mode
This mode records 4 external inputs in two pairs as
two stereo files.
