Summit Value Series switches are designed to provide solutions for enterprise
edge applications with the industry-leading modular ExtremeXOS operating
system. Summit Value Series switches offer simplicity and intelligence at an
affordable price for the edge of the network by providing a unified switch
operating system environment—ExtremeXOS. They are designed for the
simple Gigabit Ethernet- or Fast Ethernet-to-the-desktop applications with
outstanding manageability, resiliency and performance.
With Summit Value Series switches, we can offer an end-to-end synchronized
and consistent operational experience from the core to edge through the
modularity of the ExtremeXOS operating system. The ExtremeXOS operating
system helps to increase network uptime and availability for mission-critical
applications in the enterprise environment to significantly reduce the complexity
of managing the network.
To further simplify the operation, Summit Value Series switches commonly
support the CLI scripting capability which automates the deployment of the
network to help reduce the network operating expenditure.
