The Advanced menu screen contains parameters involving your hardware devices. It also provides advanced
settings of the system.
The table below describes the parameters in the screen. Settings in boldface are the default and suggested
parameter settings.

Description
Selects serial port address and IRQ.
Selects parallel port address and IRQ.
Allows user to specify the operating mode of parallel
port.
Note: Shows up if Parallel Port is set to Auto or
Enabled.
Allows the user to choose the resource if the
'Parallel Port' is set to 'Enable'.
Note: Shows up if Parallel Port is set to Enabled.
Sets the interrupt request of the parallel port.
Sets a DMA channel for the printer to operate in
ECP mode.
Note: Shows up if Mode is set to ECP.
