Using the Program Guides
Choosing a Guide
Once you have set up at least one provider, the Smart Remote Electronic
Program Guide offers several different ways of sorting guide information:
•
All channels shows all of the channels available for the current provider.
•
My channels lets you create a customized lineup with only the channels
you want from the current provider.
•
Shows in HD shows the programs marked as broadcast in HDTV in the
current provider's listings.
•
Movies shows the programs marked as movies in the current provider's
listings.
•
Sport shows the programs marked as sports events in the current
provider's listings.
•
Family shows shows the programs marked as family-friendly in the
current provider's listings.
•
My shows shows the programs in the current provider's listings you have
marked as your favorite shows.
To access a guide:
1. Press the HOME key. The Home screen appears.
2. Highlight the Guide icon and press SEL. The Guide selection screen
appears.
NOTE: You can also access the Guide selection screen by pressing the GUIDE key
on the Smart Remote.
3. On the Guide screen, highlight the type of guide you want to view. Press
SEL to choose that guide.
If you have configured more than one program provider, use the left and
right arrow keys to toggle between providers. Your selection appears in
the bar near the top of the screen.
4. In the listings for the guide you've chosen, use the up and down arrow
keys to move from channel to channel. Use the left and right keys to
move earlier or later in the guide's listings.
NOTE: To increase the speed of scrolling in the guide, hold down the up or down
arrows.
